Point Location Description: Shaft just N of property symbol 25 between Madoc and Banker Lake.
Location Method: Conversion from MDI
Access Description: Drive 1.4 km west of Hwy 62 on Hwy 7. Turn left and drive 1.2 km. Turn right and drive 1.52 km. Turn right and drive 0.6 km. Stop at laneway on left about 73 m before bend to left of road into house. Walk 30 m east along fence running perpendicular to road at laneway. Then walk 203 m at 010 deg. Trench is located part way down hillside.
1916: C.R. Ross commenced mining on the McIlroy farm. 1917, 1918, 1923: C.R. Ross continued operations as manager of Mineral Products Limited. Production was estimated at 400 tons. 1944: Detomac Mines Limited produced 40 tons. 1962: The workings were filled in by bulldozers.
