Point Location Description: Precise, Shaft closest to property symbol 27 N of Moira Lake.
Location Method: Conversion from MDI
Access Description: Drive south from main intersection in Madoc for 2.4 km. Turn right and drive 0.08km to abandoned RR tracks. Continue for 90m and turn left. Drive for 45m.
Vein first exposed during construction of Belleville-Madoc branch of Grand Trunk railway. 1912: Optioned by Stephen Wellington and William Cross. 1915-1920: Messrs. Cros and Wellington carried on mining operation on main Perry property and also on Perry Lake property to southeast. Shipments continued from ore stockpiles until 1923. Production recorded at 4,000 tons for this period. 1941: Reliance Fluorspar Mining Syndicate Limited reconditioned mined and operated mine until 1943. Further production of 4,000 tons during this period.
