Access Description: Go approximately 50m west of Cross Country Road on Kuno road, walk 60m north on old overgrown road opposite a Bell power pole with transformer for a distance of 60m to pit.
1920: Messrs. Dillon and Mills opened up the deposit. It was worked for feldspar in a small way by the Feldspar Mines Corporation and Mr. P.J. Dwyer until 1924. Idle since 1924. A small pit measuring 40 by 20 by 25 feet deep, was opened on a 30-foot dyke and only 2 cars of feldspar were shipped.

Feb 21, 2012 (A Wilson) - A zoned pink granite pegmatite intrudes amphibolite. The pegmatite contains soda spar and milky and smoky quartz, with minor titanite, hornblende, pyrite, magnetite and possibly uranpyrochlore.
