Feb 24, 2012 (A Wilson) - Betafite, euxenite and pyrochlore occur in narrow fracture zones near the pegmatite borders. Amazonite, ellsworthite, euxenite, titanite, garnet, fluorite and hornblende were observed on the waste dump. OGS sample R-77-44N-2 assayed 4 ppm U3O8 and 17 ppm Th. OGS sample R-77-44N-3 assayed 5 ppm U3O8 and 21 ppm Th. OGS sample R-77-44N-1 assayed 310 ppm U3O8 and 5700 ppm Th. Only sample R-77-44N-1 was collected from the pegmatite.
