Medium-high temperature metamorphism has produced a variety of minerals as granular aggregates and euhedral crystals : essonite, diopside, vesuvianite, zircon, spinel, olivine, chlorite, cancrinite, blue calcite, plagioclase, scapolite, sodalite, wollastonite, serpentine, chondrodite, pyrrhotite, graphite, brucite, garnet, apatite, hastingsite, pectolite, clinohumite, brugnatellite, monticellite, tochilinite, perovskite, ludwigite and others. The skarn rock itself is made up of wollastonite and diopside (50-60 %) and is white and green in colour.
