Access Description: Located 425 m N of Hwy 28 and about 215 m W of Bow Lake and accessible by foot.



Exploration History

1911 : mag survey (GSC, Lindeman). pre-1917 : several test pits and open-cuts in the side of a hill, by unknown operators. Assays : 51.0 % Fe, 0.07 % S, 9.03 % SiO2, 1.94 % P (1913) and 69.6 % Fe, 30.8 % FeO, 1.53 % TiO2, 0.22 % P2O5, 0.04 % S, 0.18 % V (1981).

Geology Comments

Dec 07, 2005 (C Papertzian) - Several small lenses of massive magnetite within a small lens of syenite in biotite schist, amphibolite and marble. There are 2 zones, 400 ft apart, each about 500 ft long.
