May 30, 2011 (A Wilson) - A weakly radioactive zoned pink granite pegmatite dike,0.35 meters wide and exposed for a length of 4 meters, crosscuts apatite-biotite syenite. The zoning consists of fine-grained quartz feldspar mixture border zone of coarse quartz and feldspar. The pegmatite trends north-south.

May 30, 2011 (A Wilson) - Uraniferous zircon occurs in the pegmatite core with very red feldspar, quartz, and minor magnetite. The zircons found in the central part of the core are euhedral, dark red and greenish-red bipyramids up to 5 mm in size. They are radioactive metamict variety crytolite. A grab sample collected by Masson and Gordon returned 860 ppm U3O8 and 4000 ppm Th.
