Lithology Comments

Jan 12, 2012 (A Wilson) - The metasedimentary rocks sequence is divided into graphitic gneiss, transitional graphitic gneiss, and barren gneiss. The graphitic gneiss is a calcareous biotite-amphibole-quartzofeldspathic gneiss. Graphite, pyrite and pyrrhotite occur throughout. Graphite occurs in concentrations visually estimated to be from l to 4 percent. Sulphides occur in concentrations of l to 2 percent. The graphitic gneiss sequence has a moderate dip to the east of 5 to 20 degrees. This unit is sandwiched between the upper barren one-calcareous gneiss, which forms the hanging wall of the deposit and similar lower barren gneiss which forms a footwall. The total thickness of the graphitic gneiss is 75 metres which has been determined by drilling.

Mineralization Comments

Jan 12, 2012 (A Wilson) - The graphite in hand sample appears to be 1.5 to 2.0 mm. in diameter on average. The grade on surface exposures appears to vary from 5% to 10% by volume. The graphite appears to be restricted to the quartz-feldspar-biotite- garnet gneiss. As the amount of garnet and biotite increases, the amount of graphite decreases. Princeton Resources Corporation outlined three zones of graphite mineralization by diamond drilling. Each zone contains disseminated graphite at various depths from surface to 265 feet. Flake graphite occurs disseminated in the gneiss and variable concentration in the transitional gneiss. The graphite flakes occur as oval surrounded particles from l to 6 mm in diameter
