Dec 09, 2015 (R Degagne) - Quartz lenses and stringers of unspecified geometry are reported to by hosted by sparsely exposed sheared and altered and weakly metamorphosed (greenschist or lower metamorphic grade) basalt of the (Archean) Kinojevis Group and are spatially associated with felsic aplite dikes.

Dec 09, 2015 (A Wilson) - Silicified zones have values of up to $4.17 (at $35.00 per oz., this would be 0.12 oz. Au). Values of 0.2 oz. Au have been reported by Ferguson, et al (1973). The best gold assay yielded 51 ppb Au from an ultramafic peridotite. Nickel assays from DDH C-96 ranged from 5 to 11 ppm in ultramafic rocks.
Dec 09, 2015 (R Degagne) - Hand picked pyritic quartz samples are reported to assay 0.20 ounce of gold per ton. A recent geophysical survey of Currie Township failed to detect any significant bedrock conductors in the occurrence area.
