Background Information: THE COOPER MINE IS ACCESSED FROM THE SURLUGA ROAD 0.4 KM FROM HWY #101 WHERE A GRAVEL ROAD IS TAKEN EASTWARD FOR ANOTHER 1.3 KILOMETERS; OPEN STOPES ARE ACCESSIBLE ON BOTH SIDES OF THE ROAD. THE YEAR 1992 SURVEY REPORTS OPEN CUTS AND TRENCHING.
