Province: Superior
Subprovince: Sachigo
Terrane: North Caribou
Geological Age: Archean
Mar 16, 2007 (A Wilson) - The stratigraphic section consists of Archean-aged, steeply dipping, mafic to felsic volcanic rocks with minor amounts of interflow sediments intruded by sills and small stocks of gabbro and granites. The volcanic units have been isoclinally folded to produce a weak to very strong foliation.

Mar 16, 2007 (A Wilson) - The massive magnetite + massive sulphide mineralization resembles McFaulds #1 and #3 prospects. A 3.7 m section of core returned 0.93% Cu and a 1.5 m section of core returned 1.60% Cu.. A 0.75 m section of muscovite-rich mineralized felsic metavolcanics returned an assay of 0.98 g/t Ag and 0.534 g/t Au. The mineralized zone is estimated to be 10 m true width.
Mar 16, 2007 (A Wilson) - Muscovite-chlorite alteration assemblage is present as well as chlorite talc-serpentine.
