Mar 12, 2008 (Mark Puumala) - This occurrence is based on an anomalous gold assay reported from Dome Exploration diamond drill hole 188-11 (AFRI# 53B06NW0006). This drill hole was advanced to test coincident magnetic and electromagnetic geophysical anomalies that were interpreted to have been caused respectively by a magnetite iron formation located between 261.1 and 273.3 m, and graphitic and pyritic sections between 125.5 and 248.45 m. An assay of 0.68 g/t Au was reported over 0.5 m (between 148 and 148.5 m) in basalt immediately below an iron formation contact. Mineralization was reported to consist of 20% irregular quartz/carbonate and 2% disseminated pyrite.
