Access Description: The occurrence is located in Palmer township. Travel to the town of Batchawana along Highway 17N and turning onto a gravelled road for approximately 15km.
In 1964, Consolidated Marbenor conducted a 3 hole diamond drill program totalling 1641 feet along with a reconnaissance geochemical prospecting program. The one hole in particular MB-3 was drilled at a depth of 500 feet identifying the mineralized area of this occurrence.

Nov 25, 2010 (A Pace) - The occurrence is hosted within predominantly mafic metavolcanics,intermediate to felsic metavolcanics and mafic intrusions of the Batchawana Greenstone Belt. Brecciation has been identified in drill core.
Nov 25, 2010 (A Pace) - Hole MB-3 investigated a very strong northe westerly-trending linear. It cut a brecciated zone about 70 feet wide sealed with quartz-carbonate material and mineralized with sulphides. Sulphides identified were pyrite, chalcopyrite and pyrrhotite. MB-3 intersected 5 feet of 0.28% Cu and 4 feet of 0.17% Cu.
