Oct 28, 2013 (A Pace) - Coarse mafic metavolcanics of the Batchawana Greenstone Belt. The mafic volcanics are fractured consisiting of a quartz and feldspar mattrix. Many of the fractures contain minerlaization in the form of chalcopyrite, malachite and minor pyrite. At times the rock unit appears brecciated. Many of the fractures also display epidote and sulphide alteration.

Geologist: A Pace
Notes: The deposit was visited in the 2013 field season by staff of the Sault STe. Marie District Geologist Office. Assays were taken by the District geologist staff along the mineralized zone. There were a total of 3 grab samples taken at this location. Copper assays returned 0.65% Cu, 1.5% Cu and 0.17% Cu. Staff was able to observe the mineralized fractures associated with the deposit.
