01/01/69 Pickands Mather and Company of Cleveland, Ohio held a large area east of Highway 6, covering lots 35 and 36, concession I; lots 34-43, concession II; lots 34-44, concession III; lots 33-43, concession IV and parts of lot 35 and lot 36, concession V, E.B.R., St. Edmunds Township, for future production of flux stone. The area is accessible to lake transport and the rocks are suitable for excavation below the water level.
