Geology Comments

May 12, 2023 (Paul Malegus) - The pegmatite intrudes into a fine-grained biotite-rich granite nearby the NW contact between the Allison Lake granite batholith and metasedimentary rocks of the Uchi Subprovince in northwestern Ontario. Ouroborous pegmatite is approximately 30 m wide and concentrically zones, with a current strike length of 140 m. The middle of the pegmatite consists of a zone that is 2.5-30 m wide, with quartz, k-feldspar and "spodumene".
