Dec 07, 2005 (M Barua) - The 21 m section at this quarry consists of 7 m of Guelph Fm Dolostone- brown-grey, v.fine crystalline, med-bedded; 7 m of Lockport Fm (Eramosa Member) dolostone, med-brown, v.fine crystalline, med to thick bedded, abundant shaly partings in the lower part, transitional characteristics; 6 m of Lockport Fm (Eramosa Member) dolostone, med brown, thin bedded, laminations and bituminous banding, vugs filled with gypsum, calcite and chert common.
