Access Description: 0.5 km west of Point Anne.
Early 1900's: building stone produced by J. Macdonald from 3 beds of light to dark, blue-grey limestone about 40, 50 and 60 cm thick for use as bases, sills, and veranda caps. Pieces up to 3 m long are reported to have been extracted (OFR 5730, p47).

Dec 07, 2005 (D Laidlaw) - Bobcaygeon Formation, lower member: 7.45 m thick, limestone: light grey to medium brownish grey, weathers light bluish to brownish grey; lithographic to coarse crystalline; thick bedded; upper 2.35 m contain shaly partings (OFR 3730, p47).
