Access Description: 6 km east of Havelock on Hwy 7.
The quarry was operated between 1930 and 1950 by Ontario Rock Company Ltd for crushed stone which was used in local road construction. The quarry is currently inactive and partly obscured by vegetation and talus.

Aug 02, 2023 (Mateo Dorado-Troughton) - The quarry exposes about 6m of limestone of Middle Ordovician Gull River and Bobcaygeon formations. Wolf (1993) described two units - Unit 2: Limestone: mottled medium grey-brown to dark brown, weathers same; fine to coarse crystalline, with intervals of laminated medium- to coarse-grained calcarenites, and some intervals of coarse-crystalline bioclastic limestone; thin bedded except for the upper 80 cm which is one massive bed; very fossiliferous, with numerous rugose and tabulate corals and stromatoporoids over 40 cm in diameter, and abundant crinoidal debris; lower contact is very sharp, marked by a thin, (5 cm) recessive shaly limestone - Unit 1: Limestone: medium grey to grey-brown, weathers light to medium grey; microcrystalline, with a lithographic texture, upper 0.5 m of unit has thin interbeds of fine- to medium crystalline limestone; thick bedded; patches of calcite crystals common.
