Access Description: 1.4 km NE of Petworth.
In the early 1990s, building stone (ashlar and sills) was been produced, primarily from broken and loose rock for construction and restoration work in the Kingston area. The stone can be seen in walls of the McDonald's restaurant on Division Street in Kingston (OFR 5730, p51). 2015: Rideauview Contracts Ltd. quarry in operation.

Nov 23, 2020 (Sheree Hinz) - Gull River formation, lower member: 7.5 m thick. Limestone with dolostone interbeds: limestone-light grey to dark brownish grey, weathers bluish grey; lithographic to sublithographic with shaley partings; thin to thick bedded.
