Dec 07, 2005 (C Papertzian) - Brief comment on the presence of stoneless clay E of Crosby; similar to some seen near Forfar in a flat valley bottom. These are small, local deposits ( lakes or ponds ) more silty with less shrinkage but as good as clays near the St. Lawrence for producing brick.
