Jun 15, 2023 (Q Unknown) - Beaver Creek Complex was investigated for building stone potential. Lumbers (1969) maps this intrusion as a fine-grained to medium-grained, sometimes amphibole-rich, albite granite and syenite. He also describes breccias consisting of fine-grained albite granite and syenite fragments in a matrix ranging from marble (from metasedimentary inclusions) to a chloritic matrix to an amphibole-rich granite and syenite matrix. Mafic intrusives (diorite) and felsic intrusives (primarily K-spar-quartz rocks) named granite or syenite based on the amount of quartz perceived were observed in the field.
