Point Location Description: General Lee Mine symbol 22 on Beaver Creek Complex SE of Steenburg Lake.

Location Method: Conversion from MDI

Access Description: Travel north on Hwy 62, 20.05km past Cooper Road (Bannockburn) to Weslemkoon Lake Road. Turn left (west) and travel 0.9km to a bridge across Beaver Creek. Cross the bridge and travel west for another 1.45km. The dump is situated on the north side of the road. It is overgrown and covered with leaves making it difficult to spot. The dump is within 15ft of the road.



Exploration History

Unknown. An open cut about 60ft X 10ft X 8ft was reported to exist 60ft northeast of the dump.

Mineralization Comments

Dec 07, 2005 (D Laidlaw) - A 6ft wide zone of massive magnetite with some pyrite, pyrrhotite and chalcopyrite was reported to exist at a syenite-marble contact.
