Point Location Description: General. 4.0 km west of Canniff Lake.
Location Method: Conversion from MDI
Access Description: From Madoc, at the intersection of Hwys 7 and 62, drive 35 km north to the Weslemkoon Road and turn right. Drive 7.7 km east to the Skootamatta Forest Access Road. Turn right and drive south-southeast for 7.5 km to the Lingham Lake Road; turn right and drive south for 7.3 km. The occurrence is located east of the road.
1990: OGS reconnaissance sampling (MP 151, p108). 1999: Jim Laidlaw performed prospecting, ground geophysics, mapping and assaying on claim number SO 1077096. (2.20852, OP99-545).

Dec 07, 2005 (D Laidlaw) - OGS sample assayed 13 ppb Pt, 15 ppb Pd. J. Laidlaw reported platinum-palladium assay values ranging from 2 to 20 ppb, with one anomalous platinum value of 105 ppb and copper anomalies in the 300-500 ppm range (OP99-545).
