Access Description: Property number 661 on Map P2611 Kingston Area, 2.5 km West of McGees Pond.
Property number 661 on Map P2611 Kingston Area. Two pits, in the search for gold: a) c.1899, A. Harris sunk a 2.1 m deep pit on a 0.6 m wide quartz vein with minor pyrite mineralization; b) c.1912, Dr. Coutley sunk a 2.4 m deep pit. Harding (1947), could not observe the mineraliation due to debris and water infilling the pit, (AR Vol 56 Pt 6).
