Dec 07, 2005 (C Papertzian) - On lot 12, con 3 : 'a compact, massive pyrrhotite', Ni 0.16 % (1894). On lot 17, con 3 : a massive pyrite in quartz contained no Au or Ag (1900). On log 11, con 4 : a highly quartzose gneiss, often garnetiferous, contained a small amount of disseminated po (1894). On lot 27, con 5, and along the E shore of Udra Lake : a rusty, pyritic, quartzofeldspathic schist occurs in marble adjacent to mafic metavolcanics (py,po shown on map P3096, 1988). On lot 27, con 9: py, po shown on map P3096, in rusty gneiss (1988). On the boundary of lots 5 and 6, con 14: py and po in rusty siliceous clastic metasediment at the junction of 2 township roads at the lot 5 and 6 boundary line. The unit continues E and intersects a county road 0.5 km E of the first showing. 6 assays showed no anomalous values (only 180 ppm Cu and 116 ppm Ni at the W showing).
