Access Description: The Paxton deposit is located about 500 m north of a rough road between Kinmount and Miners Bay. A trail leads north to the mine from a sharp south-westerly bend in the road at the foot of a steep rocky ridge.
Pre-1919: Approximately 1,000 tons shipped from 2 pits, measuring 50 by 75 feet and 50 by 60 feet.
