Dec 07, 2005 (C Papertzian) - Magnetite, up to 15 %, is found throughout a small leucodiorite pluton that intrudes marble. This is one of a series of syenitic plutons along the SE margin of the Glamorgan Gneiss Complex. They represent the extension of the Gooderham Syenite Belt into the Howland area. This pluton may also be nepheline-bearing.
