Lithology Comments

Feb 01, 2017 (A Wilson) - – The pegmatite is a zircon-thorite-albite bearing white pegmatite exposed for 30 m in an open cut. Marble country rock strikes N15ºE and dips 28-40º E. Radioactivity occurs within a concordant sill of thorite-zircon-albite leucogranite and within skarn bands in the marble.

Mineralization Comments

Feb 01, 2017 (A Wilson) - The highest assay returned from the sampling program was 3.02% U3O8 and 0.05% ThO2. The zone contains an average concentration of 15-20% zircon. A grab sample assayed 0.298% U3O8 and 2.10% ThO2. Geiger readings average 25-50 times background. Drilling indicates that mineralization does not continue down-dip.
