Jan 28, 2017 (A Wilson) - Hornblende-plagioclase-quartz paragneiss striking N10-20ºE and dipping about 65º is cut by syenitic and granitic veins trending N50-60º E.
Jan 28, 2017 (A Wilson) - Readings of 4 to 10 times background were encountered over a few small, narrow pegmatite veins. Rock trenching and chip sampling on radioactive pegmatites within carbonate metasediments on the north and south grids returned assays of 1/4 pound of U3O8 per ton over widths of 13 and 34 feet respectively. The high total counts per second are due in part to high thorium assays. The uranium assays are too low to be of economic interest at this time.
