Access Description: The property is located about 400 metres south of Wilberforce station.



Exploration History

1917: American Molybdenite Ltd., shipped 58.6 tons of material grading 0.20% MoS2 to the Mines Branch, Ottawa and 27.2 tons of 0.39% MoS2 to Renfrew. A total of 320 pounds of molybdenite was recovered. 1918: Molybdenum Products of America optioned the property and installed a 125-ton concentrator. In 1919 the property reverted back to American Molybdenite Ltd. 1965: New Far North Exploration Ltd. acquired the property. They performed a geochemical survey and diamond drilled 2 holes for a total of 569.3 feet.

Jan 28, 2017 (A Wilson) - Flakes of molybdenite range from a quarter of an inch to 1 inch in diameter cut by stringers of albite and pyroxene carrying small quantities of pyrrhotite, pyrite and molybdenite.
