Access Description: The quarry is on lot 9, a stockpile on lot 8, con 5.
1976 : opened and reported production of 75,000 tons of material of all sizes. Reserves listed as 325,000 tons D. and R.T. Casey were operating the quarry in 1982, apparently intermittantly. 0.25 acre is developed - 100 x 50 x 30 m. The stone is used for aggregate (granular A and B ) and gabion stone.

Geological Age: Mesoproterozoic
Dec 07, 2005 (C Papertzian) - The quarry is in black amphibolite (80 %) that is irregularly-veined by pink granite (20 %). It is too hererogeneous for building stone but some oversize blocks with a breccia-like appearance would be suitable landscape stone.
