Apr 04, 2011 (A Wilson) - The pegmatite is about 25 feet wide. Quartz forms a 10 foot wide zone in the centre of the dike flanked by pink microcline with coarse grey granite. The dike cuts a biotite augen gneiss which is also exposed in a low cliff 30 feet south of the stripping. The gneissocity trends N65W and dips 45° southwest

Mineralization Comments

Apr 04, 2011 (A Wilson) - The pegmatite is composed of is composed of pink microline, graphic granite, glassy white or grey quartz, odd books of biotite with a maximum diameter of 3 inches and magnetite. An analysis of microcline from the property returned 65.72% SiO2, 19.15% Al2O3 and 13.75% potash. The ratio of feldspar to waste was reported to be very low.
