Aug 03, 2011 (A Wilson) - Grab samples collected by V. Sheehan returned assays ranging from1.70% to 3.26% total carbon. The grade varies from <1.0% to 3 or 4 wt % graphite and averages 1.5 - 2.0 wt%. The graphite occurs as flakes that average 1.0-1.5 mm in diameter. Grab samples collected by N. Gow in 1988 returned 1.85% and 3.31% graphitic carbon.
