Oct 31, 2017 (A Wilson) - The Potsdam sandstone is exposed in Ramsay Township, north of Carleton Place. In 1962, Ontario Building Materials Limited opened a small sandstone quarry on the James Farm, lot 5, concession 7, Ramsay Township, a mile north of Carleton Place.
