Sep 03, 2015 (A Wilson) - Stone from this quarry has been used for decorative trim on buildings in the Carleton Place, Pembroke, Renfrew, Arnprior, Almonte, Perth and Smith’s Falls area. Only the upper layer was quarried since the material lying below was thin and shaley. The stone is dark brown to dark brownish grey in colour.
