1917-20 : worked for short periods by Waring and Stoughton. Optioned by the Bancroft Mining Company in 1917 and in 1918 694 lbs of cobbed ore (4.19 %) produced 28 lbs of molybdenite for sale. 2 trenches, 20 and 30 ft long and 2-3 ft deep.

Dec 07, 2005 (C Papertzian) - A leuco-granite pegmatite cuts marble and large inclusions of this, caught in the pegmatite, have been altered to pyroxenite. Molybdenite crystals up to 1 inch in size occur in the pyroxenite (1955).
