Jan 17, 2012 (A Wilson) - Exposed in the southwest wall of the cut is a 12 foot wide zone of grey corundum syenite, grey biotite corundum syenite gneiss, buff corundum syenite, pink corundum syenite and pegmatite.

Jan 17, 2012 (A Wilson) - The bronze-coloured corundum ranges from 1/8 to 2 inches in diameter. The grade of the corundum was visually estimated to be 10-20%. The corundum zone is exposed over a length of 40 feet.
