Circa 1912 : Kirk and Winning quarried about 2 acres at this time. The stone may be seen in the Ottawa Collegiate Institute, the Mortimer Building and the Y.M.C.A. building.
Province: Paleozoic and Mesozoic Basins
Dec 07, 2005 (C Papertzian) - The stone is a trifle lighter in colour than at Robillard's quarry and on some fractured surfaces there is a striking white-flecked appearance.
