Access Description: In the centre of the town of Kanata, which lies about 20 km southwest of Ottawa, a paved road leads southwest from Hwy 7 and intersects a gravel road after 2.5 km. The occurrence lies 300 m east of the intersection, and 200m north of the paved road.
Between 1919 and 1921: mining operations conducted by Messrs. O'Brien and Fowler, of Ottawa. A small plant was installed... and a pit 130 by 30 by 30 feet deep was opened. About 3500 tons of feldspar was shipped.
