Oct 18, 2012 (A Wilson) - A rusty band about 7 feet wide in schistose chloritic diorite is in contact to the south with white weathering coarse rhyolite. The rhyolite is only slightly sheared.

Dec 05, 2012 (A Wilson) - The mineralization in the rusty zone consists of irregular patches and stringer of fine pyrite. Grab samples are said to have given low Ni and Co values. Grab samples collected by Nickel Rim Mines in 1965 reportedly assayed up to 0.52 oz/t Au. Diamond drilling returned assays of 0.76 % Cu and 0.19 oz/t Au over 6.3 ft from DDH 1. A 1.5 ft section of core assayed 0.358 oz/t Au from DDH IA. Grab sampling from trenches by Aladin Mines Ltd. in 1975 returned values of 0.28% Cu 0.07 oz/t Au over 2 ft and 0.76% Cu, 0.19 oz/t Au over 1.8 ft. The best assays from the Aladin drilling returned 0.05% Cu and 0.03 oz/t Au. The best assay from the Sturdy Mines drilling returned 0.12% Cu and 0.01 oz/t Au over 3 feet. Sampling by T. von Cardinal returned the following assays: P8371 - 13.54 g/t Au, 4.9 g/t Ag, 0.71% cu, 0.057% Ni and 0.01% Pd; P8374 - 4.63 g/t Au, 16.1 g/t Ag, 1.28% Cu, 0.004% Ni.
