Aug 15, 2017 (A Wilson) - On lot 22, close to Desbarats station, a shaft 8 by 8 feet and 25 feet deep,cut streaks and pockets of good ore. Another shaft 10 by 9 feet and 10 feet deep showed four hematite veins with widths of 5, 8, 12 and 15 inches, respectively. Hematite in part specularite, is present in Lorrain quartzite as disseminations or segregated in veins and pockets. Veins up to 15 inches wide.
