Jun 11, 2020 (G Seim) - The 16 Zone is described as a series of altered mafic volcanic bands up to 6 m wide but on average 1-2 m wide within a carbonatized ultramafic horizon. These mafic bands contain the gold mineralization and are carbonatized, sericitized, albitized and silicified and contain up to 15% pyrite and minor arsenopyrite.

Oct 29, 2010 (A Wilson) - Zone 16 is composed of irregular quartz veins, varying in thickness from centimetres to decimetres. The veins contain iron carbonate and very fine grains of visible gold.

Oct 29, 2010 (G Seim) - CC96-16 returned 1.03 g/t Au over a width of 58 m. Included in this zone are several higher grade sections with values up to 11.85 g/t Au over 1.3 m. CC96-18, 100 m to the W, returned an interval of 0.781 g/t Au over 26.2 m including 2.617 g/t Au over 2 m, 1.801 g/t Au over 2.4 m and 1.694 over 3.2 m, and 3.476 g/t over 14.5 m including 13.96 g/t Au over 3.3 m including 29.54 g/t over 1.5 m. Visible gold in quartz veining was reported with the latter sample. CC96-19, 100 m to the E of CC96-16, had a best assay of 1.10 g/t Au over 1.5 m in a zone of anomalous gold content 4.1 m in length. CC96-22, drilled under CC96-16 intersected 4.7 g/t over 3.8 m including 0.8 m grading 20.64 g/t Au on initial assay and 37.85 g/t Au on check assay. This is within a unit of altered ultramafic rock intersected over a core length of 76.1 m.
Oct 29, 2010 (A Wilson) - Richmont Mines Ltd. drill hole CC-10-45 returned: 73.54 g/t Au over 7 m (20.71 g/t Au cut at 30 g/t Au); Drill hole CC-10-46 intersected 22.76 g/t Au over 0.5 m Diamond drilling by Richmont identified two east-trending, sub-vertical mineralized areas in Zone 16, namely the 16 North Zone and the 16 South Zone and confirmed a true width of 5 m for the published intersection of 73.54 g/t Au. Drill hole CC-10-51 returned 13.94 g/t Au over 2.7 m and hole CC-10-50 returned 4.94 g/t Au over 4.5 m in 16 North Zone. Drill hole CC-10-50 returned 15.02 g/t Au over 1 m in the 16 South Zone.
