Mineralization Comments

Mar 16, 2016 (Therese Pettigrew) - The Fracture Zone is hosted in quartz veins which cut a quartz-eye tuff. This zone appears to be a strike extension of mineralization discovered during the 1950s on the western side of the Lac Minerals Limited property. The mineralization consists of native gold, molybdenite, pyrite, and telluride minerals. Diamond drilling in 1982 has intersected a number of high grade zones (up to 3.36 ounces gold per ton) over narrow widths (1.6 to 4.9 feet; George Cross Newsletter, Number 204; October 25 1982) (MP118). During their 1980-81 drill program, Corona delineated the Lake Superior Shear Zone, approximately 1600 ft in length with widths varying from 2-15 ft with an average grade of approximately 0.15 oz/t Au. Narrower widths of higher grade material (1.86 oz/t Au over 2.0 ft in DDH 81-57) were intersected periodically (AFRI 42C12NW8705).
