Access Description: The claims are located in south central Errington Township immediately east of Longacre Lake. The claims are easily accessible by Trans Canada Highway 11, which passes through the north claim approximately 6.5 km west of the turn-off to Geraldton (Highway 584).
Showings are located on claims TB10849 and TB10854, so the history of both is given, though it should be noted that they are part of a much larger claim block held by Tombill Mines Ltd. 1932: Claim TB10849 was staked by Eric Frederickson for Harry McInroy, and claim TB10854 was staked by Tom Christianson for Gertrude C. West. 1933: Both claims were transferred to T.A. Johnson who applied for a Mining Operation Permit and filed 30 days assessment work on each claim. 1935: Surface exploration and 6553.2 m of diamond drilling were done on the claim block by the Oro Plata Mining Co., which managed Longlac Lagoon Mines Ltd. 1936: Elmos Gold Mines Ltd. was incorporated to take over Longlac Lagoon Gold Mines Ltd., and performed surface work on the claims. 1940: Tombill Gold Mines acquired the assets of Elmos Gold Mines Ltd. No work was performed on the property. 1940s: Diamond drilling and geophysics were performed by Tombill. 1959: Tombill Gold Mines Ltd. changed its name to Tombill Mines Ltd. 1974: Tombill Mines Limited conducted VLF, mag, geological and geochemical (soil) surveys on the claim block. 1979: Airborne mag and EM surveys were conducted by Tombill Mines Ltd. 1980: Diamond drilling was conducted elsewhere on the claim block. 1980: Roxmark Mines Ltd. acquired the property. 1980s: Roxmark drilled 12 DDH.

Dec 07, 2005 (B Nelson) - Pye (1951) has noted that: surface trenching and diamond drilling have disclosed the presence of several quartz veins and stringers scattered along a zone of shearing in conglomerate. This zone dips steeply to the south and strikes east-west.

Dec 07, 2005 (B Nelson) - The gold content is low; the best intersection noted averaged 0.26 oz/ton gold over 0.3 m (Pye 1951).
Dec 04, 2018 (Therese Pettigrew) - Pye (1951) has noted that: "...surface trenching and diamond drilling have disclosed the presence of several quartz veins and stringers scattered along a zone of shearing in conglomerate. This zone dips steeply to the south and strikes east-west." Mineralization includes pyrite and arsenopyrite (Pye, 1951).
