Access Description: The property is accessible from the south by boat along the Atikokan River or by traversing along the Canadian National Railway east of Atikokan. It can also be reached via motor vehicle by Highway 622 northeast of Atikokan, turning right at the Ontario Hydro Generating Station switchyard, then a series of bush roads lead you to the property.
1979: The property was staked by Steep Rock Iron Mines on which geophysical surveys were completed in 1980. During 1981, detailed mapping and sampling was conducted, while in 1982, surface trenching and diamond drilling was carried out. Three 300 foot diamond drill holes were completed.
