Dec 12, 2022 (Therese Pettigrew) - The showing consists of a quartz vein conformable to the bedding of the enclosing iron formation. It has been traced over a length of 1200 m. There are occasional assays up to 0.80 oz/t Au but the vein is only up to 20 cm thick (Assessment report 52J07NE9137). Sampling in 2014 returned 5.5 g/t Au (Assessment report 20000008409). Sample S193847 returned 38.8 ppm au from a rusty quartz-carbonate veinlet with trace pyrite in a very fine-grained, black-grey iron formation with visible gold found along vein-host rock contacts (Assessment report 20000009265).
Jul 12, 2022 (Q Unknown) - 1980 grab samples (AF-0023-A1): 1983 report states vein to NE of prop. Traced for 1200m, assays up to 0.8 opt Au, 1990 grab samples (AF-0048): assays 1046 ppb Au (#EAO-S32, sketch #5), pits 325 m to SW 14,356 ppb Au (EAO-R31, s#3).
