08/14/2020 (S Lewis) - This location is part of the Slate Bay assemblage and consists of basal conglomerates that is dominated by volcanic clasts from the Ball or Balmer assemblages. Immediately to the north, the Slate Bay assemblage is in unconformable contact with another conglomerate unit that are characterised by well-rounded volcanic clasts of plutonic or volcanic detritus and/or oligomictic conglomerates derived mainly from the Balmer assemblage which are variably dominated by chemical sedimentary or basaltic clasts.

08/14/2020 (T Pettigrew) - DDH NMD87-12 returned up to 0.552 ppm au over 1.5 m from a bedded metasediment with pyrrhotite and pyrite. This drillhole was located near the surface location that returned the 1310 ppb Au grab sample in 1986 (Assessment report 52N04NW0002).
08/14/2020 (S Lewis) - The sample A1352 collected during Pure Gold Resources field program in 1986-1987 returned 1310 ppb Au from iron-stained quartz biotite schist. Overburden till sampling program conducted by Skyhabour in 2004 identified pristine gold grains in TL-40 and, after calculation, observed anomalous (240 and 90 ppb) gold values from TL-63 and TL-65, both located up ice direction from TL-40.
