Apr 14, 2020 (Samuel Lewis) - The geology here is largely underlain by massive to foliated mafic flows and thin pyroclastic units that trend in a southeast-northwest orientation. These mafic volcanic rocks are apart of the calc-alkaline dominant McNeely Sequence, and are characterised by pillow or massive textures.

Apr 14, 2020 (Therese Pettigrew) - The mafic metavolcanics are weakly mineralized with disseminated pyrite. Locally, moderate (5%) amounts of fine-grained disseminated pyrrhotite and pyrite are observed within mafic flows Occasionally, the mafic flows take on a somewhat mottled texture due to local clusters of chloritic material (Assessment report 52N04SE0056).
Apr 14, 2020 (Samuel Lewis) - Significant drill hole intercepts were observed, including 0.11 oz/t Au over 2.2 feet (Assessment report 52N04SE0134). Goldquest Exploration (1983) indicated from compilation work that 6 drill holes within this area intercepted Au values between 0.10 to 0.13 oz/t over one to two feet. The host rock is described as brecciated andesite with pyrite, chalcopyrite and arsenopyrite with quartz carbonate veining. Drilling by Goldquest Exploration (1985) also intercept two small zones of 0.01 and 0.02 oz/t Au in a highly altered mafic flow and in a fine grained to glossy rhyolitic dyke containing finely disseminated magnetite.
