Mineralization Comments

Dec 29, 2006 (Mark Puumala) - Diamond drilling by Gateway Patricia Gold Mines in 1937 is reported to have encountered anomalous gold mineralization in drill hole G-26, which was advanced on Claim No. Pa. 3492. The anomalous gold values were reported from material that was logged as banded siliceous sedimentary rock (Hamilton 1937). It is likely that this material is banded silicate facies iron formation. The gold-bearing horizons were reported to have contained quartz-carbonate veining and disseminated pyrite. This occurrence may be a western extension of the gold mineralized zone at the nearby Gateway Patricia prospect. The most notable reported assay was 0.03 oz/ton over 0.6 m.
